I am in a high spirits, even though I will show you something super simple, maybe even too simple.
Skittle is type of the manicure where every nail is different. This seems to be trend of the season, and for once, I am doing something trendy.
I seen super pretty almost ombre, where every nail is just shade or two lighter or darker than the previous one. There were also ones with cacophony of colors that do not relate to one another on any level.
I am somewhere in between here. Most of the skittle manicures I had seen were done using creme polishes, but you know me - loving the sparkle, so I did a holographic version.
I kind of did a gradient of kind - from red to purple. This is really great idea when you want to wear all of your polishes, but can not decide which particular one. It is also a great way to give a polishes that did not been used in a while - one manicure and five different polishes.
I picked some of my favorites that I did not wear in a while.
On my thumb, I am wearing Colores da Carol - Balloon Dog.
On my Index finger I am wearing KBShimmer - Poppy Kisses. This was my first ever KBShimmer polish, and my first red holographic polish. Lots of firsts in one little bottle of polish. This one also needed another chance to shine. It is on the pale side of the red, and was perfect transition into the next color.
On my Middle finger I am wearing Color Club - Sidewalk Psychic. This is one of the polishes that were love at the first sight kind of colors. I definitively love copper shade, and this one is just perfection. just look at that holo, like a universe in a bottle. This was my "bridge" into the next color...
Ring finger is sporting il etait un Vernis - Field Trip Fun. I absolutely adore this purple polish with strong copper flash. This particular Indie stopped making the nail polish, which is so sad. I have few of this French brand, and formula was always spot on.
My Pinky is wearing Esmaltes da Kelly - Orion. Now, on the photos this one looks pretty blue, but in person was perfect purple shade that went really well with the polish on the ring finger. On the photos it almost sticks out like a sore thumb, or pinky in this case.
I actually wore this for two days, no stamping, but I added a tiny gold colored studs, as I could not wear it totally plain.
I might do another one in some future, as it was really fun looking for the right shades within the polishes I did not use in a while. It was nice to see them and wear them even if it was just one nail at the time.
With this thought, I will whish you all a wonderful day. Be safe, stay safe, and be kind - we all need this reminder from time to time, especially in the times we are living in.
Cheers!
