You would think that would discourage me, but I am a seasoned lounge chair traveler, and for today's destination, I picked Australia. I really would love to visit the down under continent, if for nothing else, to visit the elderly aunt, I wish to see at least one more time.
My destination is Sidney in particular. There is not many people that do not know recognizable silhouette of Sidney Opera House, and it would be really nice while there to go to the concert there, and experience that marvel of the architecture in the every possible way, with every sense of my been...
Or see the famous Sidney Harbor Bridge, another landmark in the city that is calling my name.
For someone that spent the whole life on the Northern hemisphere, it would be real threat to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays there, and maybe ring in the New Year with the fireworks that would illuminate those mentioned landmarks, under the inky, summer sky full of the stars. No heavy coats, and no ice, maybe just a dip in the ocean as a different start of the year.
Hopefully, I will be on the beach that does not have sharks... on the second thought, swimming in the pool under the stars has the same appeal, and is much safer - we know that I am all about safety, especially personal safety. Definitively not a dare devil here, LOL!
Now, that I shared another dream destination on my bucket list, let me tell you what I did here.
I actually did some soft blue gradient, and loved it - surprise, surprise.
I used Sally Hansen - Pacific Blue (original formula) and Bliss Polish - Too Yacht For You. Those two polishes are used to stamp the waves on the index and ring finger. I loved that they did not look too harsh against the base colors.
All images are on Clear Jelly Stamper x @meganailsupplies collab plate - CjS- LC-28. Love that plate has smaller and bigger images, and that I could fit the whole continent on one nail. Yay!
My nails were longest there in a while, and right after I did this manicure, I broke one of the nails, so back to the shorties...
Short nails do not bother me, but it is much easier to find the images that would fit the nails are when there is a little bit of the length to them.
I used white and navy blue, and I could not pass the opportunity to use one of my favorite indies from Australia - Hit the Bottle - Espresso Martini + Give It a Weight Now. This is one of my favorite stamping polishes, and those two warm browns looked so good next to the cool blues.
One day, I will met with the some of the indie makers from the Australia, and already looking forward to it.
Have yourself a wonderful day, wherever you are.
Cheers!
