I did this more than a month ago, but I did not like it at the time, so it ended up in unposted folder...
Now, I am glad for all of those manicures, as I am really strapped for a time, and I feeling drained and unmotivated to think about anything.
I took inspiration from the name of the polish - El Corazon No.992 - Japanese Silk. This is foil like finish polish with some scattered holographic glitter, and I applied two coats (no top coat) for a full coverage.
That was Idea behind this design, and then I wanted to add on the top of it to look like a painted silk...
Well... this one unravelled really quick.
I started with reverse stamped floral design that came out fairly well.
Then, I started layering the same image first using Mundo de Unas - Black, but somehow was barely visible... Then, I added Hit the Bottle - Let's go to the Peach - but color scheme was all wrong... then I added Mundo de Unas - White, but I found it too stark... yeah, I am really hard to please...
I ended up using my sheer polishes and dabbing on some color, but somehow, this did not really work for me.
All images used are from UR Beautiful - 09 stamping plate.
On the first photo I had a glossy top coat, but afterwards I decided I want this matte, and I used Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat.
I know I hated it when I did this manicure because this looked totally different in my head. You know how it is when you imagine something, and it ended up completely different than you wanted it - that is what happened here.
More than month later, I thought it does not look as bad as I thought at the time... I don't think I can remember what I wanted it to look like. It is great thing that I have a little booklet where I write all the materials I use for different manicures, as there is no way I could carry this in my head - but I also put a little note what was going through my head when painting different design...
I wish you all a wonderfully peaceful day.
Thank you for visiting.
Cheers!
