Whole thing reminded me of summer, sitting around the bonfire with the group of friends, exchanging the jokes and scary stories, and then someone brings out guitar, and spontaneously song burst. First upbeat rhythm, and as evening is progressing, slowly winding down, together with the flames of the fire, and slowly, one by one, people are returning to their tents, and just a bravest stay talking in the soft tone now, not to wake up rest of the crew.
I started with neon red from Nina Pro - Heat Wave, that I purchased from Sally's while ago. I did not use any white undies here, just three thin coats of the color. I will have to try this one over the white base for comparison one of these days.
On my thumb and ring finger I applied iridescent flakes from Born Pretty Store I purchased myself, and if you are interested, they are item #38767. I was just curios how they will look against neon base.
Over the dark base, there is lots of red in those flakes, and here they showed more of acid green, and yellow and even some pink. I did took photos indoors and outdoors, so some colors are easier seen in direct light, and some in low light. Flakes are applied over Yellow stopper by American Classics, and then topped with fast drying top coat, They actually lay pretty flat, but I knew I will stamp over, and wanted them put.
Images I used are on YZW-Y16 round stamping plate. First I stamped image of the flames over and over again using following: Mundo de Unas - White, Hit the Bottle - Let's Go to the Peach and Hello Buttercup, Girly Bits Cosmetics - Silly Daffodilly, until I was satisfied. Then I topped whole thing with Essie - Shine of the times, topper that looked very similar to the flakes I used. Layered like this, they reminded me of sparks when light hits them.
Then I stamped stick people and some music notes using Mundo de Unas - White, and Hit the Bottle - As black as night.
If you are planning on camping, please be respectful of nature and power she can yield when we leave open fire unattended, or non extinguished or someone just throw cigarette but... many life is lost when wildfire takes over - not just human, but also many of the animas take the hit here. I did not even want to mention material looses some people suffer, but will surely mention loss of green trees that providing us with oxygen all of their existence.
With that said, have wonderful and safe upcoming weekend.
Cheers!
