Traveling is not something we did much in last year or so, and it may be while before we can travel freely. That does not mean that we will never see all the beautiful spots in the world.
There are many ways to do it - by watching traveling documentaries and experience it through someone else eyes. You can do the same with the books, and with the photos and your imagination, you can add to experience, or you can just travel the world by stamping the different landmarks on your nails, and dream of visiting those places once during your life... just like I did here.
This manicure is done for the Picture Polish challenge, and challenge was to recreate someone else look by using at least three Picture Polish shades.
Now, that was the challenge on its own. Even though I own about 2 dozens of Picture Polish shades, I had such a hard time finding the one that would contain colors I own.
Took me more than week of scrolling through the feeds of nail artists I like.
I almost gave up, when I came across the manicure Fernanda @themermaidpolish did with polishes from the different brand, but included the colors I actually had.
Gradient is done using Picture Polish shades as follows: Blue (blue), Royal (purple), Pinkie (neon pink) and Rebelle (peach). I absolutely love those colors, totally my kind of colors.
I also loved the travel theme, and even though I did not have the exact images Fernanda used, I tried to be as close to original. I have no idea what she did on her thumb, but I added another travel destination to it.
I loved this manicure a lot, even though I am not much for the recreations. I love to see the original and leave the credit to the artist that came up with them. I also not necessarily have the colors or images used, and that would be bugging the heck out of me.
Now, all I ask is for you to cross the fingers, and wish me good luck.
Honestly, I can't wait to see all the entries to this challenge.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Cheers!
