Because I do not mind rain, especially after a drought we were going through, I went with rainy day design...
I started with beautiful polish by Pahlish Polish - Gaia. Beautiful stormy turquoise that was giving me rainy day feel, so I had to use it for the rainy day manicure. Love gold crushed flakies, and they look especially pretty here.
I used white and grey to paint few clouds, over which I stamped some umbrellas. Should I say a colorful umbrellas?! LOL!
Images used are on Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS-141 stamping plate.
Reason I would always go for the bright umbrella is that nothing will brighten your day like a bright, colorful umbrella on a grey, rainy day. I may or may not have one or two myself.
Black may be practical and will go for both - males and females, but I find them boring.
I managed to sand down majority of the secretary cabinet I am refurbishing. Just a little bit more and it will be ready for the new life... can't wait to see it done. I had a vision in my head, so I am really curious how this will end up. I purchased new hardware, so this tired, old outdated piece of furniture will get a new lease on life, and should look so much more modern.
Having another day to give it a final sanding, which I have to do outside, and rest of the work can be done indoors.
I hope you will have a nice rest of the weekend.
Cheers!
