My pretty soft and neutral base is another of my many Color Club Nail Lacquer shades - In the Buff.
Color wise, it reminds me of my favorite OPI shade - My Vampire is buff, and I do have an issue with OPI re-releasing exactly the same shade under the different name. I discovered this by purchasing exactly the same shades in few different names, and you could not find any difference between them but the name. It is obvious that I love that color, so it bummed me to have that happening, especially because they are not the cheep polishes for the main stream.
This particular one- In the Buff - has an amazingly creamy formula, and was fully opaque in 2 easy coats. I find this color perfect alternative to a white especially when white may seem too stark on your nails. Touch of nude also makes it so elegant and timeless.
Image I set my mind on is on Creative Shop 81 stamping plate. This plate has so many cute images, and I did used it in the past, but my problem is that my nails are not really this big, so even when longest, pretty much every stamping plate image is too big for me.
I could split this image in half, and that way use it whole, but I did not want to do that - I just fit as much of the image I could.
It is really frustrating, as this image is so pretty, yet I could not give it a proper chance due to the size of my nail beds. I would really like to see the female that would need the images this wide to begin with, but most of the plate makers make them in the pretty much same size.
That is why I get so excited to see smaller images on the plate.
Image was picked up using the black polish, then I colored the images in, and applied the decals.
All was topped with the glossy top coat, and I just could not resist adding some gold colored confetti glitters for that extra sparkle.
We are half way through the week, it just gets better from here.
Cheers!
