I sat down, and this came out - almost a zebra pattern, but with some sparkle (well of course!).
When I sat down to do this, I imagined only couple of ribbons on every nail... but when I started, I did not know when to stop. Story of my life.
I started with sheer nude by Essie - Brides to be. This is from few years ago collection, and I seemed to need all of the polishes, and I pretty much got them all.
For painting, I used Mermaid striping brush from NailStuff.ca, and this pattern emerged. Those brushes came as a trio, and I added a link if you are interested. They are great for nail art, and look awesome. Because of their finish, they are easy to spot in between other tools I have.
I used sparkly black polish with reflective glitters that I received couple of year ago from Born Pretty Store for review. It is called - My Old Friend. I also used black and white polish, as well as silver glitter by Color Club Nail Lacquer - On the List.
all was topped with glossy top coat, as I love the glossy finish.
This set made me so happy. I loved the bold pattern, but simple black and white color scheme kept it elegant. This also reminded me of bondage dresses from 90's... anyone else remembers those? I even had one, but was too chicken to wear it...
I am also glad it is a Friday. If weather is not crazy, I might even wonder outside and try to plant those tulip bulbs I purchased last autumn, and never got the chance to plant...
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
