Last night I was at the seminar (work related), which took good chunk of my evening. No regrets though, there is always room to learn something new. Self-improvement is always a good thing.
Today, I have little bit of everything thrown in: Thermal polish, stamping that disappears, Double stamping, contrasting stamping, hearts, animal print, leaves... and a kitchen sink.. LOL!
Beautiful pink (warm state) to red (cold state) polish is by Different Dimension - Sleigh Ride.
I have a love-hate relationship with thermals. Love them when they are working, and when they look like a gradient, but most of the time, I find that I like the cold or warm color better, and it is usually the wrong at the moment. Good old Murphy!
Thermal pigment is most unstable of the pigments, and most makers will guarantee about year that will work. Majority of the ones I have work for much longer time, and we are talking several years, but I had few that stop working really quickly...
I am also always matching my nails to my scrubs, and sometimes one of the colors may not be the best fit... what to tell you, I can be pretty particular, and that is what bugs me.
In any case, I do purchase thermal polishes, which is much more than I can say for the glow in a dark... May have couple, and are used just for quick look, and last until I take photos. They just freak me out. Once, I used polish I did not know it glows in a dark... woke up in the middle of the night, and could not go back to sleep as my nails were to bright! Totally freaked me out. Ever since I am steering clear from that kind of polish.
Over this really pretty thermal I used images from Nicole Diary - S14 stamping plate, with mix of tropical/animal/hears images.
For stamping, I used Clear Jelly Stamper - Red-y for anything (red) that would totally disappear in a cold state, which was pretty cool if I may say. It was like a little surprise when your hands warm up.
Also used are black and white stamping polishes.
I really loved wearing those, and they did not clash with my scrub tops as they had both pink and red and black in them.
It is Friday, yay! Have a great day!
Cheers!
