For this week's #AllAbstractTuesday, we have the design that is nicely ties up the slow, but sure transition of the season. Even though day temperature is above 30*C, over night drops to below 20*C, which is really nice and refreshing. August is getting to the end every day more and more, and as September approach, that usually means change...
Loved this color scheme though. There is still brightness, but there are also deeper colors to ground them up.
I started with Sally Hansen - Blue Rose. I have this polish for a few years, just in case that you check and it is not available any more.
Over that I painted with nail polishes, mostly with stamping ones, as they are more opaque and more likely to show against this pretty dusty navy blue base. On index finger I almost completely covered it up with other colors and patterns.
First I did a color blocking, then I added the details.
As you can tell, I am getting pretty comfortable with my freehand, and as everything else, practice makes perfect. I was always so self-conscious about posting freehand designs, but this abstract thing got me all excited to try my hand in it again. I just thought - even if it is not exact, and is out o proportions, it is abstract! LOL! You can blame it all on abstract.
I hope that your day will go smooth.
Cheers!
