Third item I received is this gorgeous stamping plate - Born Pretty - Pure World - L002, item #48006.
I love the Born Pretty plates, as they are always perfectly etched, and I never ever had a problem with the pick up. They also stepped up in the visual department, and they plates are original and very trendy.

I decided to do led lighting technique using the serene image of the water and the tree, and that image was big enough for me to split over two nails. If you are not familiar with the technique, you actually color in the image after it is stamped on the nail, using the sheer polishes or tints.
I used my Essie - watercolor polishes, and in the end, I absolutely loved the results.
Let me start from the beginning.
On my mid and ring nail I applied white polish, while on the others I applied Squishy Face Polish - Pinning For You. This was one of my first indie polishes, even though I do not think that she is making the polish any more.
I picked up the image using the black stamping polish, then using my sheer polishes I painted in the stormy clouds and filled in the image. I could not stop looking at this, and to think about how much I want to see the green trees and green grass.
Still dreaming of the Spring, even though yesterday's hour long blizzard kind of put me out of sorts. Weirdest weather pattern - 10 min. after the snowstorm stopped, we had blue skies and sunshine...
Have a wonderful weekend!
Cheers!
