Group of ladies went in a step further, so they created a challenge with this theme. For this challenge, first they post black and white version, then the colored version. I never done that challenge, but I did this as a part of the collab for the friend.
You probably guessed how this starts. You paint your nails with the white polish, stamp or draw the images with black, and then I applied top coat, not to smudge black during the coloring process. This is how that looked.
Naturally, I choose the flowers - my favorite thing to paint/color. Image I picked is on Uber Chic - UC 18-01 stamping plate, which I then colored with franken (made in process I explained above) and some sheer polishes I already own.
My thumb and pinky did not have any design, so I just randomly mixed the colors on them for some kind of watercolor gradient look. This would make such a nice background for the stamping, I will have to try it some time soon.
After you are happy with your colored piece, top it with top coat, glossy or matte, whichever is your preference. Most of the time, I am team glossy, but from time to time, manicure calls for the matte finish. This was not one of those times though.
I hope you like how I colored in those tiny flowers. Now I will wish Anita happiest birthday.
Cheers!
