Negative space manicure was what I had in mind, but what I ended up doing was some retro, nails, little bit abstract, with deconstructed rainbow... I made sure that I use all the colors of the rainbow, and I even added one... What I did was a single brush stroke in a fashion of the dry brush, using each color, without committing to any one of them. Add to that black and white stamping, and result was rather neutral, instead in-your-face kind of manicure.
I picked up few items on May's Polish Pick Up. I did a swatches for couple of the events, but until then, I never purchased anything before this.
Here is my purchase.
For this manicure, I used that tiny plate by It Girl LE 103.
I planned to do something totally different, but as I started, this manicure just evolved on its own, and believe it or not, I did not even use all the images on the plate!
That just shows you that size can be deceptive. I actually liked that those single images in the centre are not too big, so I can wear this plate even when I have a short nails. That is really important to me, because I have folder upon a folder full of plates that have images so big, they are too big for me even when my nails are their longest.
For stamping, I used two stamping polishes by the Hit the Bottle - Snowed in and As Black As Night, and I also used that stamper that I got in my Polish Pick Up order, and I love it! Girl never can have too many of the clear stampers. I noticed that some stamper work better with certain plates or polishes...beats me why.
I hope you are having a blast of the day.
Cheers!
