This month theme was jungle, and I was at loss what to do with this theme. This was my state of mind when I finally sat down cutting really close to the due date, but once I sat down, this emerged.
It ended up going in abstract kind of sphere, but I did not hated it completely. It appears that my freehand vary with the theme. Some themes I was super detailed, and with this one I ended up being pretty vague - definitely not my best work. It could be that deadline was looming, and this was the best I can do in the rush. Not quite sure what happened, but it is what it is.
It ended up looking dark and forbidden, instead of the light at the end of the tunnel kind of look I actually had in mind.
I did an color block background, with wavy lines, and strong colors. I used different polishes, and this are the polishes in order of appearance, from top to bottom: Glisten & Glow - Leaf Peeping & Lattes; Different Dimension - I be-leaf in you; Picture Polish - Lime Lite + Korma and Rimmel - Hot Cocoa.
On solid colored nails, I used Different Dimension - Helix Nebula.
Then using the black and different shades of grey, I did the shadows of the jungle vegetation.
I topped the jungle nails with matte top coat, and I left the solid nails glossy, for more contrast.
I am still not quite sure about those, but here they are. There is always a room for the improvements next month.
Now, starting tomorrow, I will go with 7 days of pink manicures - October is breast cancer awareness month, so stay tuned for shades of pink.
Cheers!
