My pretty creamy base is Color Club Lacquer - Favorite Flanel.
It was almost fully opaque in one smooth coat, even though I am wearing a 2 coats and no top coat on the swatch above.
To me, this color is perfect for the desert themed manicure. This look took several twists and turns, to arrive at this destination. Honestly, when I started, this was not actual look I was going for.
All started with what appears to be my favorite image from B. Loves Plates - B03 Mind Blown.
Lets just say there was more than one layer here - black, multic hrome blue and white... Loved the white the most, but I found it too stark for the base...
Out came my Essie - Aquarels - sheer jellies that I used to color over the stamping. Honestly, this gave me the actual idea about the desert scene.
I imagined it as a sunset over the dunes... and just went from there.
Decided to use the images I was itching to use for a while, but never really find the right time until now.
Images are on Born Pretty - Western Memory - L002.
All was topped with the glossy top coat, as I do love the glossy look.
I surely hope that your weekend is goin on well.
Have a wonderful day, and I hope that you included some fun and some rest in your day.
Cheers!
