This polish is Zoya - Uli - pretty warm nude with gold shimmer, that somehow looks shade darker on the nail. This might not be the best nude on me, as it clashes with my skin tone, but I liked it enough to go back to get it.
I didn't want anything loud (for a change), and I paired it with brown, just because I never used this polish, and wanted to see if it would stamp. Brown polish is Kleancolor - Metallic brown, and as you can tell, it stamps like a champ. I like that you can see gold shimmer throughout that polish too, which made it perfect pair for Uli.
I've got multi pack of metallic Kleancolor polishes, and so far I tried couple of them for stamping with great results. I found that most metallic polishes will stamp pretty good. This is fairly inexpensive polish, and is always great to find less pricy alternatives, especially if you are as obsessed as I am. Too bad that I can`t purchase them in the stores like my southern neighbours, so I had to order them on line,
Images are from Helen 20 stamping plate, and it is full nail design. I just picked out singles and placed them on nail where I wanted. My clear jelly stamper was really handy for placement of them.
I placed single clear rhinestone in the center of each square spiral, just because it looked kind of dull without it.
Even though this did not looked that bad, I was not happy with it. I think it was just my color choice... brown is never my first choice...
I might try to do this base polish again, but with different color choice.
I am happy to announce that my garden will once again be part of my photos. I just think that gives photos character, make them less sterile and impersonal...
On the first photo we have some delicate heather in the background.
