Good morning lovely ladies.
This is manicure I did few weeks ago, and it was one of my 'no stamp' series. I did freehand flowers and some glitter placement. Base is Wrai rose by Maybelline, and is one of my older polishes. I used white polish for flowers, and as you can tell, I painted them with such a flourish. They are all different shape and size, but design worked out, as they are all white. To be honest, I actually liked this one. Hope you like it too. This is it from me. Good morning lovelies.
I wanted to do a postage stamp nails, and I am not sure if there is such a nail stamp. Well, if does exist, I don't have it, so I created my own. I wanted this manicure to look as vintage suitcase with all of the different stamps and stickers, but considering that my nail beds are so tiny, I just went with one stamp. I used dotting tool and brush to create scalloped edge, then I added a Eiffel tower from BM419 and Paris writing from BP 36. Rest of the nails are painted in Colorclub - Je T'aime - seemed appropriate, and stamped with Tian Xan-22 French manicure design with China Glaze - Black Diamond. Hallo everyone.
Second Friday 13th in row, and this one is not good for me... Just a quick post to share with you. I actually like this soft, elegant manicure. A lot. Base is L'Oreal - Doutzen's nude, while holo polish is Flash Black by Layla. I used BP 48 plate for stamping, and some amber colored rhinestones for accent. Bright red in a background is my son's shirt. Whole day yesterday we had overcast sky, and minute I finished my nails, there was break through, and I just grabbed my camera and took a pic to capture beautiful linear holo of this polish. From time to time, I like to mix it up a little and do something different. This may not be my favorite manicure, but it was fun to wear. I never do moon mani, so here is one. This fun and bright blue is Buxom Blue by Cover Girl. Stamped image from GA21 with Born Pretty gold stamping polish. Interesting enough, when I got this set of plates, I did not like them because they been too angular, too geometric... They grew on me in the mean time, and I started to crave more of those kind images, to take a break from all of the floral designs I favor. I really liked color combo, but gave me a hard time to photograph... layer of matte top coat solved this problem, so here is pic of both of them. Because I could not decide which one I liked better, today at work one of my hands sported glossy, and other one matte look. I love how this manicure made my nails look much longer then they are.
Cheers. Which one of them you favour? Good evening ladies.
Monochromatic mani for today. When I got my Secret Garden set from Bundle Monster, this design caught my eye. Bundle Monster named this plate Sneaky Tiki, and number is BM 711. I wanted to try out my textured Sally Hansen Sugar Coat polish, named - Lick-O-Rich. I thought little bit of texture would go well with design. I like textured look, but don't like texture on my nails, if that make any sense to you. This may change, but I have to tell you that urge to remove it is really strong. On my ring finger, I stamped design as is, and I found it just a bit to narrow, so I did enlarge it for my middle finger. I left it as is, so it can be compared side by side. I wanted to do it black and white, but I think I'll redo it in color next time... This is it from me for today. Take care. Hello there!
I was feeling quite colorful last night when I did my nails. I wanted to try out this gorgeous green. Can you blame me? Color is named : Free spirit by Pure Ice. It is really strong color, and it may be better in a smaller quantities. I did not realise that there is shimmer in it until I painted my nails. I did just a little bit of art on it - freehand mushrooms, and little bit of dots for this fun manicure. This time of the year I can get away with it. Cheers! I have something calmer for you in stock for tomorrow. Stayed tuned. Quick post for today.
What a better way to start a week, but with a bright manicure. Base for this manicure is Essence - Wanna be your sunshine. On my pinky there is some loose Essence glitter in purple. I used image from new Bundle monster large plate BM-XL07, done in reversed stamping thechnique. I hope that you'll have good rest of the week. Hi there !
It was fun doing different, freehand manicures, but this one is for my soul. I have one more freehand mani to show you, but I'll save it for another time, a day without inspiration... Base polish is Maybelline - Twilight Rays. This is gorgeous black polish with gold speck in it, so played on gold and stamped with Maybelline - Bold Gold and BPL003 plate. For some reason, this reminds me of orient. Turkey maybe with their cut out screens - straight out of harem? I am not sure if it is a color choice or pattern itself, but regardless, I am liking it. Have a nice day, and thank you for stopping by. Hi everyone.
Just a quick post with manicure I did last week. I sponged gradient from yellow to orange, then stamped image from BPL 003. On other two nails is Hard candy - Slice of papaya. I love how that polish have the same "sunset" quality as my gradient. Thank you for visiting. Here is another technique that can be done without stamping. It is called blobbicure. On wet polish - and need to be thicker coat of polish - you drop 'blobs of another color, and it spreads a little to produce mosaic - like effect. I am not sure if my polish was wrong for this, but I had some difficulties with it... Anyhow, here is result. Blue is Sally Hansen - Blue rose, and silver holo is Orly - Mirrorball.
Hi everyone.
Still trying to post some manicures without stamping. I done this technique for the first time - One stroke flowers. You dip one corner of flat brush in one color, and other end in second color. In my case I used blue and white acrylic colors for flowers, and green for leaves. I also added some dotted flowers. What are your thoughts on this one? Base polish is China Glaze - Dance Baby and is slightly darker in real life. I think this is one of my favourite pinks. Caviar pearls are from Ciate - Cupids arrow. I am still in purple mode... just a quick post. Lily of the valley on purple. This gorgeous purple is Gasoline by Gosh, and sparkles are Edgy by Revlon. Stamp is dupe for MoYou Mother nature 04
Good morning ladies.
I realized that I don't have many posts in which I did not stamp. This time, manicure without stamper, just polish and fine brush. This particular design is really easy, even for beginners. I did it first time, and as you can tell, you can't really go wrong with it. Base color is Ciate - Sugar plum, then I did random lines in plum, silver, gray and white. My lines may be a touch too long - used too much flair while doing them. finished up with little bit of purple glitter - as waterfall is sparkly, especially in sunshine. This is it from me, and thank you for visiting. Negative space manicure is growing on me. Last time I've done it, I was fighting urge to stamp all over it. This time I just caved in and included stamping. I used Essie - After school boy blazer, deep navy blue that is almost black. Embellished with gold striping tape and studs. Stamped image is on BM314.
