I don't know about you, but in my home we are all James Bond lovers. For this reason I ordered VL007 (interesting how plate number is agent number too) and I could not wait to use it. Of course, there was not enough images, so I added some. I used BM420 for tuxedo and I free handed 007 on my pinky finger.
Good morning ladies! I used Orly - Mirror ball, and my pics don't give that holo beauty any justice. It is so much nicer in real life. White is Sally Hansen - White on and black is Sally Hansen - Black out. I really do like these, and I hope that they will last me a couple of days. It is so hard to judge durability of nail polish if you wear it just for couple of hours. That seem to be my norm last few weeks. I guess my inspiration is running wild, and all I want to do is my nails, as soon as idea pops into my head...

Hi there.
Let's start weekend on the bright note. I didn't do pink in a long while, so I started with 2 coats of Nicole by OPI - Fair play. I did tone on tone stamping with Color Club - Je t'aime, and Pueen 45. It was pretty, and soft and feminine, but... I remembered that I love contrast... I used Layla Pro - 85 for stamping and I also painted pinky finger in a same, solid color. Ta-da! I was done. What do you think of this hodgepodge? Hello ladies! I don't know what are you dreaming of, but I dream about Spring... Sooner Spring arrives, the better. In a meantime, I'll just use my vivid imagination, and imagine rebirth around me... Today polish stars are: Julep - Adrianna (light green), Nubar - Get Hatched (gold) and L'Oreal - The true gold (Sparkly). Stamp is Pueen SE 02A. Let them tell a story... I don't feel poetic today, so this is it from me this time.
It's Friday! Hooray! Good evening ladies! I came home from work tonight, and got best surprise - Vivid Lacquer envelope. There is 3 feet of snow outside, and this make my delivery even more special. This was my first time dealing with this company, and I am sure it won't be last. I am really impressed with everything - superb product, and excellent customer service. I first seen images from plate VL 025 while surfing internet, and at first I thought that this was nail wrap. Image is so realistic, it looks like photography, and that set this plate apart from any others. I knew I had to have it! When I placed my order, this plate was temporary unavailable, and seeing it with my other two plates, make me smile from ear to ear and do a little dance. Plates arrived at my door individually wrapped and with protective blue film, which was easy to remove. Each plate also have protective backing, so no worry about sharp edges and accidentally cutting yourself (happened to me with another brand). Even smallest images on this plates are smidge bigger than average, and there is this extra large image, that will fit even the long/wide nails. I don't need to tell you which plate I reach first for - VL 025. I did not even eat my supper I was this eager to use it. I did it in blues and I used both knitting and crocheting images. Of course, I had to use mate top coat, but here is pic of both - shiny and mate. Which look do you prefer?
Vivid Lacquer is small company from California that produce not only unique nail plates, but also hand mixed nail polish, and they can do special order batches done by your specifications... just imagine your wedding party wearing polish done in your wedding colors, one of the kind. This company also offers special orders for nail plates. If there is design that you want, and can't find, please be free to contact them. You can check their website at: http://vividlacquer.com/ or you can check Facebook, tweeter, pintrest or Instagram. This product was sent to me for my honest review. All opinions are my own. Good morning ladies! Another snowy day. All we see around here is white... and I am tired of it. My favourite season is Spring. How about you? It is almost depressing to think that there is almost 3 months until then. Sigh. I guess, I'll just paint my nails in the meantime. I am just trying out new color combos and I really like yellow and purple - go figure. I am type of gal that never wears yellow, but own 8 yellow nail polishes... Cold weather and daily nail polish changes left my cuticles in sad condition. If you can pass that, you'll notice my polishes LCN - Soft daisy - one of my favourite yellow polishes, beautiful buttery cream yellow. I stamped on stripes with Color Club - Safari Sunset (look at this name, I am warmer just knowing it) and GA 21. I started using squishy stamper, and takes some getting used to, and my lines are not perfectly straight, but hey, who is going to look that close at my nails? I again used this deep purple by Color Club - Nail Robi. I found it nice alternative for black... And not to forget SE04B by Pueen. I just can't have enough of this plate. It stayed on my nail mat and every time I look at it, I find something else I want to do... Have nice and warm Monday. Back to work time, little bit less of nails for me. :(
Hello ladies! How do you deal with winter blues? I just paint my nails. Today mani is long time in coming. I wanted to do something like this ever since I've seen Encore set from Pueen. Now, that I own this amazing set, I needed to execute idea to my nails... I wanted so many colors, my head was spinning, but I cut the urge right in the bud... I did reverse stamping, as this allowed me better placing of images, so they would feel flowing... so much about it. And of course, I liked placement on my right hand better - again.
As a base I used China Glaze - Don't honk your thorn, Color Club - Nail Robi (purple) Cover Girl - Bombshell (dark pink) and Maybeline - Tornado Rose ( light pink), and of course SE04B from Pueen. What do you think about this? It is nice to get some feedback. Hi everyone. Let start new year in color, and what color it is. I scored this polishes on boxing day sales, and of course, needed to use them. I was channeling my inner Marta (Chit-chat nails). She is queen of skittlete. I used Nicole by OPI - Teal me something new, Orly - Steal the spotlight, Sally Hansen - Black out and QA 16. I just realised that this necklace have few nice designs... maybe another manicure? That is to be seen.
I kept my promise, and did not spam you yesterday. Happy New Year to all of you ladies, and hope that this year will be blessed, and even better than 2014. I know that there is plenty of blessings that I count every day, as every day is gift for me and all around me. Every day we have a chance to do something good and put smile on someone face. I wish you all happiness and good times with your family and friends, good health ,great jobs and full wallets and everything else you wish for yours self. I own just 3 holo polishes, all of them in silver... and I love them! All I want to do when I wear them is to look at my nails. Both polishes are some of 25+ polishes from Christmas, and I wanted to try them on, regardless how well they go together. Base is Gosh - Holographic Hero. I stamped with Revlon - Lime basil. I have to tell you about that one - it is scented, and smells like - well, lime and basil when dries. Quite pleasant, and came in pretty bottle too. :) I used designs from Pueen 45 plate.
I just want to wish you again Happy New Year! |
