Dry brush is such an easy technique, and I love different looks you can achieve just by applying polish with just a traces of polish on the brush.
This time, I decided to use metallic polishes only, for really reflective look. I decided to brush all the polishes in the same direction, for little bit of different look.
I started with very pretty Sally Hansen - Go for gold.
I don't think I ever wore this polish over whole nail, and I may admit I kind of like it. There was no streeks from the brush, just smooth application. On the swatch, I am wearing two coats, and no top coat.
I proceeded with brushing the other metallic polishes in horizontal brush strokes across the nail, and for that I used following polishes:
Kleancolor - Metallic Green, Sally Hansen - Pink Fast, Sally Hansen - Red-io Active, Color Club - Harp on it, Essie - Blue Rhapsody and Sparitual - Instinct.
I think I like this one direction brushing. Effect was so unexpected, and reflective, and metallic polishes did help the illusion.
Of course I had to stamp over... only thing is I could not decide on the image I want. In the end, I blindly pulled one plate from untried ones, and had to use which ever of the designs on the plate I wanted... this was almost like a game... Plate I picked was Mezerdoo9.
As you can tell, even there I was indecisive, so I did two totally different and unrelated images. I stamped all first with Kaleidoscope St 01 Black, and thumb and pinky one more time with Mundo de Unas - White.
What happens to me frequently lately is that my top coat is reacting with some of the polishes, and would change color of the white, in this case to yellow on the certain spots...
Regardless, I liked this metallic dry brush even better stamped!
As always, thank you for stopping by.
Cheers!
