I hope your day is going better than mine... too much stress can lead to very hard day...
This year, I hated every single Easter manicure I made, so I was really debating on posting anything at all...
Two of the manicures actually made it to photo faze, and one lasted me about hour and I hated it and removed it, just to do another one that never lasted long enough for the photo shoot... and so on...
Second one looked so much better in my head... but eventually I deleted all photos (at least I thought so) but swatch and one little photo that I will tuck in at the end...
First in the series of failures was this one.
I started with L'Oréal - Café de Nuit. This is pretty nude crème with lots of yellow undertones, and I was pleasantly surprized that this one looked good on me.
I have love-hate relationship with my nude nail polishes. I love to buy them even though I barely ever wear them... then when I put them on, I do not like the way they look on me...
Never ending story.
Over this base, I stamped leafy image from Cici&Sisi 28 stamping plate, using my Esmaltes da Kelly - Doguito stamping polish. I wish I left it at it, and all the day, but no, I had to add more...
I did few decals using Décor Unhas DU-15 stamping plate.
So, here is this fiasco - I already started with removing this from my left hand, so Cindy stepped in for photos. This was done on both hands, as I was planning to wear this to work, but you know, even the best laid plans...
I told you at the beginning that I thought that I deleted all the photos from this manicure, but this one somehow escaped that destiny.
I liked this color scheme much better. It really looks like Easter.
Base is very soft China Glaze - Chalk me up. I purchased few super mini sized bottles of China Glaze at Sally`s Beauty when I was in the store recently. This one is so pretty, I could use a bigger bottle. On the other hand, I have so many polishes, I am not sure if I will use up this one too.
In the same time, it seem so bright and open, so fresh and so soft in the same time. I may not make any sense to you at the moment, but that is how I see it.
On the swatch, I am wearing three coats, and no top coat.
All images are on Haronouta L033 stamping plate, I purchased at Born Pretty Store.
I used too many polishes for decals to list them all. When I made decal on my ring finger, I left one of the daffodils over my skin on purpose, just because there was not much of that decal on my nail.
This looked so much better in my head.
Thing is, when I added Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat, all of the sudden, it looked like the part that was off the nail kind of wrinkled, and I wish I removed... but I did not. Otherwise, I would love this one. Plan was that I will redo this one, but time is in short supply too, together with the patience... and that never happen.
In retrospect, I am glad that this one missed chopping block.
I wish you all blessed and peaceful day.
Take care, drive carefully and be safe.
Cheers!
