I tried new technique for me, mix between smoosh and drip marble.
For that, I used my softest, squishiest stamper head - one that I got from Born Pretty Store, item #36395. To get 10% savings on all full priced items, use my discount code SHGK31.
I removed stamper head from the holder, and I actually used bottom side of the stamper head. On that, I randomly placed some drops of nail polish, in this case, I used: Revlon - Gold Coin, China Glaze - In a Lily Bit and Sally Hansen - Save the date.
I almost folded stamper head in half, to mix the colors, and then I moved it around, letting some of the polish to move (drip) until I was satisfied with what I got there (see photo in insert). I left polish to dry, and then I picked it up with another stamper, and placed created decal on my nail. I did this because I could see the top part, but I had no idea how this would look from the bottom side. I cleaned the excess decal, and that was it.
This was the first time for me to try this out, and I was not sure if this would work, or if I would even like it... That is why I stopped on one decal.
I wanted to do manicure type I do not do often, so I painted pinky and thumb with Gold Coin, ring fingernail with In a Lily Bit, and index with Save the date.
I stamped ring finger with Save the date, using the image from HK-04 stamping plate. It was bit sheer, so I double stamped it, using Clear Jelly Stamper, and now color looked saturated, just like on my index finger.
Over the Gold Coin, I added some glitter - Il Etait in Vernis - Live, Love, Laugh.
I loved how this manicure looked in the end. Colors complemented each other, and even though there is lots going on in there, this still managed to look elegant.
I hope your day will be amazing!
Cheers!
