I purchased February duo from Creative Cuticle polishes, and today I am showing you one half of the duo.
This is Bioluminescence.
You can built up the color, and one more coat, and it would be almost opaque.
I picked this polish for the Earth Day manicure on purpose - because of the name. Bioluminescence is emission of the light by a live organisms and how beautiful they look when you can see them in numbers... just imagine summer time and a big field with hundreds of fireflies dancing in the air!
Or... having a stroll down the beach on which tide brought thousands of microscopic luminescent algae and whole beach will look like it is made out of blue light. That might be a sight to see...
That said, path of self distraction we a set, pollution we emit is slowly but surely shifting fragile balance of nature. Hundreds of species are extinct in last decade alone, and prognosis is not really great for many others...
That is the reason why I decided to use polish with this name for my manicure... and because surface of the Earth is 2/3 covered in water, it was only fitting to do something that would include sea creatures.
This was also wonderful opportunity to use Creative Shop 06 stamping plate. I used two images from this plate.
Stamped with Esmaltes da Kelly - Doguito, Hit the Bottle - Hololulu Blue, MoYou Nails - Blue and Mundo de Unas - White.
