Over Penelope, I layered another untried polish - Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Purple. I showed you Chunky Holo Scarlet little while ago, and I adored that one. This ones jelly is not as intensely pigmented and I don't think it showed purple, but effect was like looking at the opal. You can almost see it on the photos, but it was much nicer in real life.
I stamped lacy design from STZ-24 stamping plate using Mundo de unas - Papyrus. I ordered this stamping polish by mistake (I thought I took it out of my cart), but I am so happy I do have it. It gives that weathered, vintage flair to any manicure. White would be to harsh over this. Design reminded me of Victorian garment, and to add to that vintage/antique look, I added some half pearls. I added my antique looking ring and look was complete.
All in all, I liked this manicure a lot, but there is little word of warning. Penelope will slightly stain your nails (due to high pigmentation), so make sure that you wear some good base coat to minimize staining.
