For purpose of today's manicure, I used images from JQ-07 and JO-L11 stamping plate.
I made decals using those two plates for my mid and ring finger. For sand, I used textured Nicole by OPI - Sand in my shoe ( I love how name of the polish match my intentional use).
Gold glitter on my pinky is Love, Angeline - Prototype, and I also sponged some on my 'sand' for extra dimension.
On my index I freehand some Ankh using black acrylic paint.
There was no real reasoning behind using those specific images together, nor I am Egyptologist with intention of portraying historical or archeological truth. I just picked random designs and put them together into something I found pleasing to me.
Considering record braking temperatures (around +40*C) for this time of the year around here, I felt like I was in a desert while making this manicure.
Heat is not best friend of nail polish, as it becomes so thick and goopy, and takes longer to dry. Stamping, on the other hand has its own set of difficulties - polish dries on the plate, so good luck with stamping... You would think this would turn me away from it - he he he, no way! I am way too deep into this to give up so easily.
There is nothing like smell of nail polish first thing in the morning! :)
