Here it is what I am talking about. I was trying out one of the polishes from my untried pile... yeah, that one that looks like a bottomless pit...
One of the polishes that was waiting for its five minutes of fame is El Corazon No-922 - American Lurex. On my thumb I used one coat over the black base, while on others it took me four coats to achieve similar results... Four coats!!! You would think I would apply it over the black base, but not - I had to do it hard way... Well, I learned my lesson...
You can see little bit of that shift on the swatch above. Shifty polishes are so hard to capture on photos. One of the reason is that my camera produce low quality photos in the low light, so I do not want to stress myself over it, if I do not need to do so.
I did this few weeks ago, and I was in a dark phase I guess, but I really liked this umbrella image. Usually, umbrella will protect us from the elements, but in this case, this umbrella was spilling out the stars, little points of light in a darkness... That is the way I seen this manicure in my head...
For stamping, I used image from YZW-N06 stamping plate, stamped with Winstonia - Silver Bullet and Hit the Bottle - Smurf blood.
