I needed purple, and I needed something uncluttered for a change, and this was also a quick manicure, so it was win-win-win situation all around.
Polish I used as a base is oldie, but goodie Limited Edition from Glisten & Glow - First in line.
There is something calming in the geometric designs, and it may be just my OCD talking here. This particular design was on my 'to do' list for a while. Image is on YZW-N08 stamping plate, and I am getting lots of use from this set. I stopped buying a complete sets for a while, because there are some images that are repeated in more or less the same form from many manufacturers, and I do not like too many doubles. Sometimes, getting a set will get you a better deal than getting few plates as a single, so my philosophy is - get them all for the same price. I am pretty sure I can use the remaining ones eventually. However, I like this set in particular, as 99% of images are totally different than the ones I have. That is pretty good percentage, especially when you get them for a really good deal.
I love simplicity and uniformity of this image, and I decided on shadow stamping.
Using my Clear Jelly Stamper, I stamped first with MoYou Nails - White stamping polish, then with Maybelline - Bold Gold, slightly offsetting the image, so both are visible. This would be really graphic with black and white, but I was going for a softer look.
This is one of those manicure when you are tired to the bone, and just want to do something quick so you can go to bed, as you have to work next morning. You pick a polish that you know will have a great coverage, and dries fast. Quick stamping, and you are ready to conquer the world... or go to the bed... or whichever comes first...or just something like that. (*_*)
I wish you all wonderful day.
Cheers!
