Even though story of a "Tin soldier" might not be most cheerful one, I have done it for a topic - Happiness...
There are two reasons for it: First one is that I wanted to do this manicure for so long, it makes me so happy that I finally done it, and that reason alone makes for happiness.
Second reason is that today is my wedding anniversary. And that is main reason behind this story. For me happiness is spending time with people that love you and cherish you for who you are, warts and all. The ones that know your best and your worst, and they are still there through thick or thin, for better or for worse... you know the song and verse.
Those people you need around, even though there might be days when you want to strangle them, most of time they will make you content with your life, and to me that is true happiness. Being happy with what you have, and making best of it.
Happiness is in a little things, and our whole life is canvas made of those precious little things, those little acts of kindness towards each other.
Sadness and happiness are two sides of the same coin. You can't appreciate happiness if you never experienced sadness...
Did I depress you? I hope not. I'll stop rattling, and will let you go to hug people that are important to you.
Thank you for sharing my day with me. Cheers.
