I was attracted to a color first, and then I noticed white spots within, that I assumed that are some kind of 'sand' that will give polish a texture. I was right. Name of the polish is Sugar pop and this could be one coater. I did two coats, because I wanted more texture, rather than for a full coverage. How cute this polish is - so summery, and I remembered how much I like to stamp over the texture.
Picking up the cue from my polish, I paired Sugar pop with Mundo de unas - White. Images are form Uber Chic Uber mini - Succulents. I stamped same image on index and ring finger, only I faced them in opposite direction. On my ring finger, I picked different image from the same plate, and I double stamped it with Maybelline - Bold gold for little bit more dimension. Unfortunately, it is really hard to see Bold gold, because this hot pink color is so intense, that would 'swallow' any other color.
There is no top coat - I wanted texture - and as you can see, it dries out shiny, which is another surprise. I am used to neon polishes to dry matte or semi matte, that shiny finish positively surprised me.
I wanted to reverse stamp those images, but that might be over the top tacky - I kind of liked simplicity of this manicure more than I thought I would.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
