Last week I received my impulse buy - grab bag from Shop Eighty4. I usually refrain from such impulses, because I love to pick my own colors - thank you for asking. Receiving this parcel I was nervous wreck and hopeful at the same time. I can't even describe the feeling when I unwrapped all four polishes, and I was thrilled that I loved all four of them, and color wise, I would probably picked them myself. In the parcel there was a bonus - tote bag with glittery lettering across spelled #polishlover. Am I a nerd being so happy about tote? It put smile on my hubby's face too - another bonus. |
What to tell you - love at the first sight. It applies like dream, and I did two coats, just because I could. It dries to a matte finish, and is delight for the eyes.
I did not want too much happening there, as this was such intense color, just a simple stamping in white did the trick. White polish is MoYou - from Princess kit I found in local Pharmasave just after Christmas. Kit came with 3 round plates, stamper, scraper and 3 mini stamping polishes in white, pink and blue.
There was also Kitty kit available that I picked up week later at half price, that came with 2 plates, stamper, scraper and full size bottle of white stamping polish. I would say I am set with white for a while now.
Images I picked are on JQ-L04 stamping plate.
Unfortunately I was not able to capture real depth and intensity of this beautiful Eighty4 polish. I took about 700 photos in different lighting conditions, and with 3 different cameras to no avail. Color was so off the scales, that was impossible to catch it. You will have to take my word for it.
I also added glossy top coat, and it seem to even enhance already stunning polish. I wore this to work last week, and I got so many compliments.
Photos below are taken with and without top coat, using indoor lighting and outdoor light.
