I was in a mood for some red, and A England - Rose Bower fit the bill. I think that I used Rose Bower only once before for a full manicure, and it was time to use it again.
My experience with A England polishes is limited, but both polishes i own, apply like a butter. Smotth, and opaque in one coat. They also stamp beautifully, and we know that is a bonus in my eyes.
This was so fesive looking, I went with classic design for a sweater over this.
Of course, this looked way better in my head...
I do have images with sweater designs, but I wanted to do something little bit different... and that is what I got.
First, I stamped snowflake image on my middle fingernail, and my thumb nail using clear jelly stamper and Esmaltes da Kelly - Tapalina. Image itself is from UR Beautiful - 16 stamping plate.
I find grey and red color combo really pretty, but grey was kind of overtaken by this beautiful red, so I freehand some white lines on the bottom of the nail using China Glaze striping white polish I've got in holiday gift pack last year.
Over this, I stamped knitted design from Messy Mansion MM-40 stamping plate using Born Pretty Red stamping polish item #22179.
Red on red was not most brilliant or visible combo, but strangely enough, I liked how this looked. For a whole minute I entertained the thought of double stamping that pattern with the lighter color, but decided against it. Some days less is more. I do have couple of less crowded designs ready for a weekend, so stay tunned.
Take care, drive carefuly, and I hope to see you soon.
Cheers!
Just a little side note - Image shown above and to the left (macro of my thumb), are most accurate color wise, at least on my screen.
It is always good to know that if you are considering purchase of this polish.
There is nothing more dissapointing than being excited about your purchase, and then face huge dissapointment, as the product you got is nothing like the photos you have seen. This probably happened to everyone at least once... I think...
