This time, for a base of the manicure, I used Orly French Tip - Flirty Girl. Flirty Girl is sheer milky pale pink, that just evens out your nail color.
When I started, I had vague notion of doing some kind of rainbow design, but somehow I ended up with something that I named 'Space Balls'...
Everything is done freehand.
Using the small brush, first I made curved line that marked edge of the sideways tips, then I filled in tips with white polish. For this occasion, I used Sonia Kashuk - White Lie. Don't you just love names of some polishes?
After white was dry, I applied lines first with silver, then with a blue striping polish. I liked this, and I took photo of it, just in case that I mess it up afterwards...
Eventually I grabbed foil like stamping polish from Kaleidoscope stm 31- Emerald Bay, and started adding random dots in random size with my dotting tool.
That was pretty, but I still did not think this was done, until I reached for another Orly polish - Key Lime Twist. Using smaller dotting tool, I added another dot on the top of every deep green dot.
I stopped there, and deem this done. I needed to stop while I was ahead.
Key Lime Twist added that summer, fresh look I was looking for.
All of this looked like some planets and their moons to me, orbiting around some different universe... I know, I have vivid imagination, but you know the saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
Thank you for stopping by, and wanted to wish you a great week ahead.
