Last week, bosses wife was on the conference in California, and as a gift, she brought me a bottle of nail polish. She never seen my collection, she does not even polish her own nails, but she went out of her way to get something for me. That she managed to purchase polish I did not own, is a feat on its own! Thank you Ursula!
I had to use this beauty on the short notice, and because this is such and soft color, I went with something sweet and soft.
I started with painting my nails with El Corazon Active Bio Gel - Base coat.
This is as much as I thought of it beforehand... I was making this up as I was going..
I decided to use some of my French Tip nail guides, and I picked one that looked like top of the heart - note to myself to use this for Valentine's. I painted tips with Sally Hansen - Petal Pusher. This was one of the rare Sally Hansen Insta Dri polishes I was disappointed in. I expected great coverage, but this was sheer, and might of been meant for French tip manicure as a base... Needles to say, my toes seen lots of it... I immediately removed guides, to leave nice, crisp lines.
Over that, I applied two coats of Butter London - Splash out. This was beautiful polish that was gifted to me. This is actually topper, and I think this will look awesome over black base. Just this time, I decided to use it as is... and so far, so good. Subtle pink shimmer is just so pretty.
I decided on accent nail, and Gosh - Frosted soft pink was right polish for the job. This was purchased over the weekend, and is so pretty. Has excellent coverage, and could be one coater, but I added two. Frosted soft pink is a matte glitter polish has a slight texture, and I did not want any bold spots.
I planned to stamp only those parts that were covered in Petal Pusher, and while looking for right lace design that would look good in a small quantity, I came across French tip design that caught my eye. Design is on UR Beautiful 03 plate, and came as curved and straight. Image had hand painted quality that appealed to me, so I used curved for my tips, and I double stamped with stamp overlapping in the middle. I really liked how that looked, so I added rhinestone in the center of the overlap.
My ring finger now looked empty, so I stamped first with LaFemme - Bordo, then with Mundo de Unas - White straight design, and then I added some rhinestones there too. Rhinestones are from MoYou London, and they been gift that I received from them when my order was lost...
Even though this soft pink may not be best color for me, I love the way this came out together.
I even managed to capture some sun on my lunch break, so we have indoors and outdoors photos of this manicure.
I wish you all wonderful day. Cheers!
