This is quite deviation from my usual tribal color to go - Color Club - Je ne sais quoi... I needed to expand my horizons for a bit...
Truth about this manicure is that I really wanted to use Seche Nail Lacquer - Lumiere. I use Seche Vite top coat - one of my favourites, and I purchased few polishes on the sale from the same brand... you know, one of those groceries and nail polish kind of trips...
Lumiere is nude shimmery polish, with just a hint of pink in the nude - almost like pale marsala color with green shimmer. What is there not to like! For the purpose of this manicure, I applied only one coat of this beauty on my nails, and you can see how great coverage that is for a one coat!
I was looking at this polish for a few months now, and I was determined to use it. I was putting it off, as I thought this would be nice color for a fall... just could not wait another month or two...
I paired it with Revlon - Chocolate Truffle. I don't really wear much brown, and this one is my least favourite of all browns I own. Chocolate Truffle have just a hint of green in it, and is really visible when you place it next to warmer shades of brown.
I alternate those two colors on my nails, just because I usually do not wear polish this way.
I also used them to stamp on each other. As you can see, Lumiere stamped pretty good, while Chocolate Truffle did not do so well... I actually stamped twice with Lumiere to see if double stamping would do any difference - it did not. It shows the same - one or two coats.
That was the reason behind introducing another color in the mix - Born Pretty Stamping Polish - Red #5, item #22179, that was sent to me for review from Born Pretty Store couple of months back.

I had so many manicures that turned out pretty different than I had envision them, I decided to simplify this one as much as I could. Last thing I wanted was to go crazy with a colors, and decide that I hate end result...
