Thought came after I read name of the polish I am wearing today. This is one of my untried polishes Nicole by OPI - Rock the look, and what better way to rock it, but with rock and roll manicure...
Rock the look is really pretty pastel pink textured polish, that reminded me of strawberry smoothie.
It is all about food with me - must be my Croatian background... everything there is about food...
I immediately knew what I want to do over this.
Last few weeks, when ever I would go through my plates, I would always stop by MoYou London - Rockstar 01 stamping plate, so my choice was no brainer.
With brother that played guitar, this plate was one of the first plates I ordered from MoYou London. For stamping, I used Mundo de Unas - Black, and for amplifier I double stamped with Sally Hansen - Silver sweep. Amplifier images are on my index and pinky.
I am going all geek on you, but guitar image is Fender Stratocaster - iconic electric guitar that is one of the best selling models in the world. You can see body design on my ring finger, and on my ring finger, they hid the neck with other ones, but it is there, second from the right. Both are very recognizable.
I love stamping over texture, and I love how this came together.
My studded cross ring is perfect accessory to this manicure, and if you wonder about my prop...
Well, those doggy tags are actually car freshener that my son took out of his car about 10 minutes prior of me taking the photos of it. I thought it is perfect for this, and yes, I might be a little bit different.
Don't you like it how I presented strange as different... hehehe...
I wore this as shown above to work for one day, and second day I stamped with Mundo de Unas - White over guitar body. I also added some pilot lights on my amplifier with hot pink...
You can tell that there are some signs of wear on below photo - my black stamping is not as sharp as on above photographs - stamping polish over texture and without top coat would get worn out much faster than on the smooth surface.
I have only one photo of this look... I liked this also, and I decided to share it with you.
