Star today is bright, sky blue Pretty Serious - Doodle Bug. I've got that one on presale on the beginning of the May, and just used it for the first time. Pretty Serious did not disappoint - as always, application is smooth, and you only need two thin coats for full coverage. I need to do more orders with Pretty Serious, but my credit card need some recovery... Christmas is around the corner...
I decided that I wanted to do some soft gradient, so I added some white - Essence - Snow Alert, and did some soft white to sky blue gradient.
I added Sally Hansen - Big matte top coat on the top of the gradient, because this just called to be matted. I was more than happy to oblige. ;)
This was supper pretty, and I had strong urge to stamp silver and gold snowflakes all over it. I fought the notion, and for that reason, I stayed away from metallic stamping polish.
I went with this gorgeous cobalt blue from Born Pretty Store - Electric blue, item #27003. For shopping at Born Pretty Store, use my discount code SHGK31 for 10% off all the non sale items. All links are provided.
For stamping I used one of my new stamping plates, my UberChic Beauty knock-off plate UR Beautiful 18. I loved this design from the day I have seen it, and I am glad I finally have it in my collection.
Isn`t it interesting how something that screamed Winter to me before stamping, transformed into something that have such an summertime look after stamping. I think that this design helped, because for some insane reasoning in my head, reminds me of sea shell design.
My mom was always doing something with her hands, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching and such, and if she seen this design, she would call it 'Lost path'... Perception is such an intriguing thing...
This blue on blue result appealed to me on every level, and I hope you are going to like it as much.
As always, thank you for visiting, and see you soon.
