It is standard for all rectangular plates from Born Pretty store to came with the plastic backing, so I do not even rememer to mention it in my reviews, and same is for protective blue film.
All images are etched nice and deep, and all images I did try, picked up flawlessly. Honestly, I never had an issue with any of the plates from Born Pretty Store.
I wanted to wait little bit long to use it for more of the Christmas design, and I probably will, but could not wait to try it out.
Harunouta is new name for me, and that is the reason for wanting to try those plates. This plate is so cute though. What I love about this plate is variety of smaller images, that are not too small to get lost on the nails, but in the same time they are not oversized, so fitting them on the nail should give you a problem. What attracted me to this plate in the first place were those stamp images. I own hundreds of stamping plates, and none of them have stamp images! how adorable. I must use them before Christmas... So little time, so much wants...
For the purpose of this review, I used two different designs from this plate.
First one is the image of reindeer in the center of the plate, and snowflake border, and here is my reasoning. Reindeer had nice mixture of thin and thick lines, and that is always good image to use when trying out the plate. Snowflake border is so cute to begin with, and it is placed at the edge of the plate. You can see from my amateurish photo above how edges are so slightly curved around the plate, and I own very cute plate (not from Born Pretty Store) that I can not use because of it. Because of the curve, image is next to impossible to pick up. I had no issues with this.
I attempted to record video tutorial... I thought I was recording... I was not... So... I do not want to talk any more about that fiasco...
Anyhow, if I actually recorded it, you would be able to see how easy pick up was from any spot on the plate. This way, you will have to take my word for it - Or you can look at the manicure, and decide for yourself.
As a base for this manicure, on all but my ring finger I used Zoya - Tiffany. On my ring finger, I used Sally Hansen - Bare it all.
I was going for reverse look on the nails, so I stamped reindeer with Mundo de Unas - Copper (41) and rest of the nails with Mundo de Unas - Pink (10).
For stamping, I used Dual XL Clear Jelly Stamper with Rhinestone cap, item #36148.
Few strategically placed rhinestones completed this festive look.
