I am talking about quilted look. Here is to unwearable nail art.
I started with 3 coats of China Glaze - Dance Baby - not because I needed it to achieve opaqueness, but because I needed layers for quilting...
After this was dry, I applied generous coat of Revlon - Matte top coat.
Top coat supposed to be almost dry - almost is key word. Using very sophisticated dental floss/pick, I gently pressed into nails making the grid... I almost succeeded, but on the spots I pressed bit to hard.
This was finished product, but me being me, did not like it, so I added another thin layer of matte top coat, and used it as a "glue" for placement of Ciate Caviar pearls - Midnight in Manhattan.
On all but middle finger I used black caviar beads, while on middle finger I made partial design, and added square hollow center stud, and silver colored beads.
I will admit that took me more than attempt for this, and I changed color three times before I decided that this is it, and that I am done with this whole business of quilting...
You can imagine that this did not last on my nails longer than it took me to take a photo...
All I could think was bed full of caviar beads...
Enough of my rattling . Thank you for looking.
