That is direction I was going when doing this manicure.
Base is Dance Legend - 06 From Russia With Love. From Russia With Love is bright red magnetic polish with gold cat eye effect, and was in their Golden Eye Collection. I knew I had to use magnetic polish for this manicure, as magnetic polishes are the ones that would look like a silk...
Few months ago on the whim, I purchased MoYou London - Fashionista Collection - 06 stamping plate, just because I could. I did questioned my sanity when I received it, as I was not really in love with it. I am really glad that I had chance to use it, even though I wish those images were just a touch smaller.
I double stamped it using my Clear Jelly Stamper, and I stamped first with Mundo de Unas - White, then with Kaleidoscope St- 01 Black. I liked the effect, even though I managed to cover up my red base...
I also did something I never did before, not in this scope anyway. I did placement of caviar beads. I thought that glitter placement is difficult - well this made me rethink that. Imagine trying to place tiny little spheres! While ago, one of my Instagram friends gave me a tip for easier pick up and placement of those. Use a toothpick or orange wood stick dipped in water. Moist tip will pick and hold the bead but is not strong enough to make the transfer to a tacky top coat difficult. This actually was pretty smooth process. This worked much better than my wax pick up pen - to use it, you need to press onto a bead, which would make the bead slip... and all of that makes this process long and tedious.
I used Ciate - Deck the nails caviar pearls. Deck the nails is mix of red, gold, silver and rose gold caviar beads, and I tried to avoid red ones for the most part. I was not discriminating against other colors.
Yours truly will stay at home next few days... Yesterday I fell down the stairs, and hurt my back. I will finish now, as it really hurts to sit down.
I wish you better day than I will have.
Cheers!
