Lets see- Neon, negative space, color block, and freehand! I was fighting really hard not to place some studs or rhinestones... but I figured, there is always a next time... :)
I started by placing a striping tape to color block index and middle finger. I used three nail polishes for this manicure, all three from Illamasqua - Rare (yellow), Purity (peach) and Superstitious (pink). I did color blocking instead of gradient, in the colors of the sunset or sunrise, just to do something different. I did not do color blocking in a while.
Rest of the nails got solid color each, one of the three above mentioned shades.
All that was rest to do was freehand some palm trees using black acrylic and Berry Wine brush from Winstonia. Those brushes are my to go to brushes. I love that they can do super fine lines, and when your canvas is so tiny, you use all the help you can get. Palm trees I painted over my color blocked sunrise, and I also added palm frond on my thumb, but decided against adding anything to rest of the nails.
All topped with Seche Vite - Fast drying top coat.
Thank you all for stopping by. Take care, and do not forget to keep hydrated - on the top of the tropical heat wave we are experiencing, air quality is extremely bad due to a forest fires, so yours truly is keeping indoors.
Cheers!
