I am talking about fishing here, and am so clueless... as the matter of the fact, I can't stand fishing. Hubby tried to take me few times, and I wanted to jump out of my skin! I found fishing colossal waste of time, especially if you do not like to eat above mentioned fish.
I would rather watch the grass grow, than go fishing.
While ago, when I placed my first order to Winstonia, my husband spotted this stamping plate named; Hunter's life, and he told me I need it.
I decided on two images - Negative space fishes, and one on the hook - one that did not get away!
I did gradient using following: Finger Paints - Iconic Orange and Pop Art Purple and Sally Hansen - Pacific Blue (original formula). Gradient was topped with El Corazon - 421/26 Northern Lights, fine flake topper with purple shift.
Over this gradient, I stamped with Kaleidoscope St-01 Black.
For the single fish, I did not liked the look of black stamping, so I stamped fish again with Winstonia - Silver Bullet, and then again with the Black. I liked it much better this way. For all of this stamping, clear jelly stamper was a must.
On the rest of the nails, I added textured Sally Hansen - Lick-O-Rich. I really liked this look. Loved the contrast between neon background and black stamping. Usually I would pick one of the gradient colors for the rest of the nails, but I am glad that I went with the black.
I am so glad that I can again take some photos using the props from my garden. Some of the flowers are out, and I will try to incorporate some of the blooms in my photos.
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy this manicure for long... on the Monday, when I wore it, I managed to fall down the stairs, and break couple of nails in the process... back to nubs... and bed rest for the rest of the week to try to heal my injured back.
As always, be and stay safe... or you can go fishing...
Cheers.
