One morning I woke up with a notion to watermarble... what I ended up was monochromatic look, in which I played with French tip design...
I was not looking this bad until I added black line... that is the reason why I never attempted doing it again on my recent stone marble look, but went with striping tape instead.
It is summer, and I am taking it easy, because some days are really hard to do anything with my nails when air is too hot. I am hot and bothered, and have zero tolerance for polish that does not want to dry fast enough, or it is consistency of honey... that is why I found myself posting manicures that did not make it, and I neglected deleting them from my files...
In other words - yay for nail fails! Gives me something to post in between manicures.
Base for this is Essence - Snow Alert, and I also used it for watermarble. For marbling I also used Color Club - Harp on it, and Sinful Colors - Black on black. I love good black and white manicure, and I tried here to go out of my comfort zone on more than one level.
I won't talk about wonders of watermarble, or even what is the best way to do it, because we all know that I am not expert on the subject, and if you are really interested, check some in depth tutorials on YouTube. You can learn lots from them. I will mention only one thing (OK maybe two) that are super important with marbling - water have to be room temperature, and I use distilled water. I have bottle of it in my nail room, and when I feel like marbling, that water is there ready for me...
Results of this escapade are... well, you judge it yourself.
Thank you for a visit, and I hope to see you soon.
