How many times I heard/ read those words as a child. I am little bit of the book worm, and I been that way ever since I can remember. I was always drawn to books and written word. When you think about it, all of the classic fairytales are pretty dark in nature. Grim Brothers were pretty grim while writing those stories aimed at children??? Some psychiatrist would have a field day with likes of them...
Now, I know you did not came here for a literary review, so I will continue with my story.
This is part of my anti-Halloween month, and I am not sure this is not creepy... how much damage those words can do to a child with overactive imagination.
I unearthed my Orly - Androgynie - multi colored, multi sized glitter suspended in black jelly... love that crelly, and gets so little wear... it looks so mysterious.
On my middle finger, I applied Born Pretty Store chrome powder - item #30892. I did not applied it over the gel, but over the regular black polish. You can use my discount code SHGK31 for 10% off all non sale items in the store.
On the top of the mirror, I stamped the frame using image from JQ-L13 stamping plate, and I used Mundo de Unas - Black stamping polish.
Finally, I used Zoya - Talia on my ring finger, and by some divine intervention, I managed to capture color that would be true to real life - well, at least it is on my monitor. I also added some of it around the mirror, so it would look like it was mounted on the wall. To make it matte, I topped it with Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat.
Letters were done freehand with white acrylic, and those small letters just about killed me. My eyesight is not that great any more, and I am not really great with writing the letters with the brush. I think that combination of both was quite draining.
Last time I wore Talia, it stained my nails badly, so I did not leave this on my nails for any extended period of time, so thankfully there was no damage this time. This is so unfortunate, because I love this teal color so much.
