But seriously, who doesn't like mermaids? They are pretty, good swimmers, and handy to have around if looking for sunken ships. Just kidding.
This was my take on MoYou London Challenge with prompt - Mermaids and tattoos. This mermaid had tattoo on her shoulder, and I had just a glimpse of it before she dived into the deep blue ocean...
On all but my index finger I have Color Club - Rule Breaker (teal polish with really strong green shimmer). On my index I have Kaleidoscope Stm 23 - Aurora Borealis over white.
I added some Klean Color - Chunky holo clover over Rule Breaker, and sponged some L'Oréal - Hidden gems on all nails.
I stamped mermaid's tail on my pinky using image from Cool 029 with Sally Hansen - Silver sweep. Image is actually part of gigantic lace flower, and I just took one petal to represent tail.
Scales are on Cooi 028 stamping plate, and I stamped them using Essence - Steel the world. I found Silver sweep to be to stark, so I switched to a softer hue. I added some details with black acrylic and fine brush to give it little bit more depth with scales.
Tattoo is decal made up with Mundo de Unas - Black and Bundle Monster BM-510 stamping plate. I filled it in with little bit of white acrylic paint because I wanted softer effect for my tattoo. This image is unusually shallow for Bundle Monster plate, and is really hard to pick up - only ever I had a problem with pick up. Bundle Monster plates are usually well etched, and maybe I just had a bad luck to get faulty plate... I used one of my soft marshmallow stampers because it picked up image the best. Of course, I did not mark where is top of my decal on my stamper, and when I transferred it to my nail with my stamper, I placed it upside down... This is only reasoning for my photos to look differently...
