That is not the only funny story I will share with you today.
One of my favourite ugly-pretty polishes is China Glaze - Buddung Romance.
Recently, I switched around my nail spot, so instead looking at the wall of windows, I actually can see some walls... I lifted my head while waiting for second coat to dry, and looked at my wall... it finally drawn on me why is this shade so familliar...
This is what I have seen...
On my nails you can see reflection of my wall of windows...
When I painted this room - about 10 years ago, my youngest was 4 years old... He walked into the room, put his little hands on his hips, and looked arround. I asked him what he thinks about new color of the room... This liitle guy cracked me up with his answer: 'It is too mustard-y... you need some ketchup!' I almost fell off of the ladders when he said that! Thing is, that still covered was my brand new sitting furniture in - Tomato red!
Who knew that my son and I have same taste in color pairing. ;D
Now when I shared this story, I can continue with Princess inspired manicure.
On my thumb, index and pinky I added some glitter, especially purchased for its unique color. Glitter is also from China Glaze - Moonlight the Night, and in the bottle looked olive green and copper... I was for a surprize when I came home... Below I have a quick swatch of Moonlight the Night over black, white, and of course, over Budding Romance- reason for buying this glitter topper.
Princess sweater was really close in color to Budding Romance, and there are white lambs/sheeps all over it. On the next photo, you can see my precious Princess wearing above mentioned sweater, and my nail interpretation of it. Everything was done freehand (hahaha) with dotting tool and a small brush.
Behind the Princess you can see tiny sliver of above mentioned wall and tomato red sectional...
