Few days ago, just before all leaves got wet from the rain that does not want to stop, I collected few freshly fallen specimens in different shades, so there is a strong possibility of seeing lots of leaves as props in a next little while.
Last couple of weeks I was mentioning Beautometry a lot - it was almost like I was sensing there is something brewing behind the scene...
Beautometry is holding a contest for a next top swatcher, and of course I will enter. You know that contests are for me like a red flag for a bull! I just can't help myself. I think that entering contest gives me a chance to grow as a person, and as a nail artist I like to become.
Beautometry contest will last four weeks, and it is elimination type of contest. If you have a chance check Beautometry's Facebook page over weekend, vote for your favourite entry. Voting will also be on Beautometry's Instagram page.
First week theme is leaves. I have few of them landing on my nails...
When I started this, I wanted only ginkgo leaves, but image I had is just tad too big for my nails. I did use it but I also added some maple leaves (of course!) some mountain ash, birch, linden tree, oak... well at least I see all of those here...
As a base, I used beautiful warm, shimmery Stop that train by China Glaze. I absolutely love this type of shades in a fall, and own few variations of this color in my collection.
Considering that I used shimmery polish as a base, I decided to stamp with crème type of polishes. All polishes I used for stamping are from Esmaltes da Kelly - Chico, Fiasca, Leo, Tigar and Lili. I just can't get over how cute labels on those bottles are.
Images I used are all from MoYou London - Mother Nature Collection 07 and whole plate is mass of different leaves. This is not a layering plate per say, but with a help of Clear Jelly Stamper, I made it work for me, and I layered couple of images.
I topped everything with Color Club - Fast drying top coat.
As always, thank you for visiting.
