My IG best friend Sharon, IG@sharnailstar sent me an image for my manicure, and I returned favour by picking image for her.
She picked white and blue design that was easy enough for me to do freehand. This particular blue is my favourite color ever, and I could wear it every day - Thank you Sharon. This fact was really hard to deduce form the fact that I have a shades of the same color, and I would not be hard pressed to produce shade or two more if occasion arise...
There is no surprize that image I picked for her is colorful... In my defense, Sharon is awesome in stamping bright images on the black background.
Both of us kept images seasonal, and both had picked a tree like images... someone would say - great minds think alike
For this I started with Sally Hansen - Pacific Blue (original formula), used Nails Inc. - Barker Street as second blue, and finished with Sally Hansen - Pacific Blue (new formula) to achieve gradient type of background.
I topped it all off with Essence - Snow Alert! - snow like topper before I even started painting.
Everything else was done using white acrylic paint and small brush.
I topped finished manicure with little bit of fine holographic glitter for extra depth (Essence - Let's stars rain down on us), even though it is extremely hard to see. Regardless, I know it is there, and that made me happy, which is all that count - right?
At the bottom of the page I also added collage with both of ours manicures to see how both of us raised to a challenge. I think we did great, even if I have to say that myself.
