Plaid is such a fun design that well transcribe into nail design.
I started with painting my ring and mid finger with Ciate - Ivory Queen, nude polish, and rest of them in Essence - Fame Fatal - deep red that shows much lighter in a photo. I also used it for stamping of plaid design, which I planned to leave as is, but it looked so plain, like a tablecloth, and that was not a look I went for... On my pinky, I layered another Essence polish, or better said topper, which name was rubbed off, so I can't provide it for you.
Next in line was adding one more layer of stamping. I decided to add more squares from the same plate Y001, this time using Hit the bottle - Hello Buttercup. I liked result, and I even wore it to work as is for a day.
I needed more contrast, but didn't want to use black. Decision was to use Klean Colors - Metallic Brown for another layer of the squares... I liked this much better, and this manicure got another day of wear. I was really sorry to see it go, as I really liked this look.
Not to myself - use more textile in your stamping.
Thank you for stopping by.
