Doesn't that sound just like a romantic blast! Actually, I don't mind looking at snowflakes, but there is that other messy, non romantic side of this fluffy stuff - like shoveling, and ugly, dirty slush, slippery sidewalks and roads...
But, on a day like that after you dig yourself out of snowbanks, you are more than deserving of big mug of hot chocolate, and while we are there, toss in some marshmallows - you earned them! Or some whipped cream if you insist - I won't judge. :)
After few days of pretty colorful manicures, I needed something calmer, and I went with this subdued color combination. Even though brown is never my first color choice, I do own few brown polishes, and I was long overdue in using one of them.
This gorgeous frosty brown is Julep - Minka - matte finish on this shimmery brown is just delicious.
Glossy crème is OPI - Be there in Prosecco. Lately, I did few manicures where I mixed glossy and matte finishes, or texture and smooth - I just find this type of mix and match more dynamic, Maybe, I am just going through strange faze... who knows.
I stamped images with Minka, using CF-23 stamping plate. Lady's hand was really thin and strange, so I tried to "fix it", do some shadowing or something - but in the end I just made mess out of it... maybe some time in future I will leave it be the way they intended... just maybe.
Stay safe and warm, and if you are not for hot chocolate, you can substitute it with tea or coffee or hot apple cider...
