I did few things here, so let's start from beginning.
I did broke my middle fingernail, and as a matter of fact, I still have patch on. It is almost grown enough to cut it out, but at the time of the break, it was below growth line, and it would be really painful to let it break of completely.
I used Orly - Nail Rescue and tea bag to patch the nail, and I decided to try another hack for easier removal of gel polish.
I applied generous amount of Yellow Stopper by American Classics, to all but my broken nail. I applied there gel base coat, as i planned to keep gel on this nail after I remove it from other nails, so it can give it more strength.
After that I applied Red Carpet - Candid Moment. This is sheer, pink gel that should be used as a base for a French manicure, I wanted it just a slightly more opaque, so I did two coats of Candid Moment. Finished by adding a layer of top coat.
After this, I gently sponged some white polish on the tips, for fade out French tips. I would not call this gradient, because I only used white on my sponge... here is how it all looked before I continued with add on.
Using Mundo de Unas - White, I stamped rose image from Bundle Monster BM-XL06 stamping plate. Interesting thing is that I purchased the plate because of this image while ago, and this is the first time I used either!
This was topped with Revlon - Matte top coat, and I really liked how this looked. This reminded me of something bride would wear. To make this bridal feeling even more pronounced, I made accent nail with wedding bands using some gold striping tape, couple of rhinestones, and half pearl.
All in all, even though I did not planned this bridal look, I really liked softness of it. I don't wear often enough such an elegant look, I decided to share it with you.
I also wanted to report that peal off base coat hack worked. As a matter of fact, it worked better on a gel polish than on regular nail polish. This is good to know, especially if you are swatch gel polishes, and/or if you are not sure if you can commit to a gel polish.
I loved this hack because I did not need to soak my nails in acetone for 10 minutes and dry them even more than they are already. All it took for removal of this gel was some cuticle oil that I generously applied around cuticles, and orange stick to pop the gel off.
Stay safe and have a wonderful day. We will see each other soon.
