In my head, bright colors are happy colors, and we want to be happy for a birthday... so I did not held anything back here...
Our Doris did not want us to fuss over it, but party is party, and I brought along some party favours... few Mardi Gras style necklaces for all of us invited.
I used two bright green polishes as a base - Butter London - Jaded Jack (crème) and Color Club - Glitter Envy. I never wore those two together, and somehow they looked closer in the bottle... On the nail though, Jaded Jack had lots of yellow in it, while Glitter Envy had almost blue undertones.
Over Jaded Jack, I stamped image from UberChic 8-02 stamping plate. That image always reminded me of strings of beads... and it was perfect as a guide for this beaded manicure... I am so bad with designs done with dotting tool, I needed every help I could get. I stamped it using Mundo de Unas - Black - my to-go-to black stamping polish.
To complete this beaded look, I added some dots over black ones using my dotting tool plus stamping and regular polishes.
I liked this bright and colorful manicure, and I enjoyed wearing it to work. Fun manicures like this always makes me smile.
I hope this bright creation will put the smile on your face too.
Once again, Happy Birthday Doris.
